Authenticity in everything we do

Our butcher counter offers hand-cut meats, authentic Mexican cuts, premium American selections, signature marinades and family recipes inspired by generations of tradition from Guadalajara, the heartland of Mexican vaquero culture.

A gathering place

We have always wanted to be more than a place to shop or eat. We are a gathering place where families reconnect with food, culture and community. Our shelves bring together products from 33 Latin countries, helping customers rediscover familiar flavors while inviting others to explore the diversity of Latin America one aisle at a time.

Our story

For more than three decades, Latino Meat Market has served Thousand Oaks with a simple purpose: share the foods, hospitality and traditions our family loves. What began as a neighborhood market and restaurant in 1991 grew into a local destination for authentic Latin food, hand-cut meats, specialty groceries and community connection.

Our roots come from Guadalajara, Mexico, where food, family and tradition are inseparable. Every generation has protected the recipes, flavors and techniques passed down before them while adding new creations of its own. We believe every taste should feel authentic and every customer should feel welcomed, cared for and connected to home.

Whether guests visit for fresh butcher cuts, family marinades, groceries from across Latin America, breakfast burritos, tacos, catering or Sunday community events, Latino Meat Market is proud to serve people the way we always have: like family.
